The Polish Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award is a biennial prize donated by the Society and is given in recognition of outstanding scientific work in any area of neuroscience to a PhD student under 35 years of age at the deadline of nomination.

Candidates must be Polish Neuroscience Society student/ordinary member working in a Polish research institution or university and must register and submit an abstract to XII PNS Meeting (www.pns2015.gumed.edu.pl/22418.html).

Individuals may apply themselves or be nominated by fellow neuroscientists.

The Awardees are invited to present a short Lecture during PNS meeting and receive diploma and newest books on field of neuroscience.


How to apply:

The application must be received no later than May 31, 2015.

After registration to XII PNS Meeting the following documents have to be send via e-mail to: secretary@ptbun.org.pl.

  1. CV of the applicant, with the short statement on the most valuable achievement.
  2. A STRUCTURED ABSTRACT (Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusions) SUBMITTED TO XII PNS MEETING, describing the novel data which were not published yet.
  3. Letter of recommendation from the Promotor/Co-promotor of the PhD thesis.

Successful applicants will be notified by June 30, 2015.
